On Saturday 9th May 2009, our U9's, 10's & 11's took part in Chesters Annual Tournament.

Our U9's run by Joanne Wilkinson, did very well and finished third in their group, just missing out on the semi finals. This is a great achievement for only their second tournament. Well done girls!

The U11's were represented by our second team, as our first team were in a tournament at Cranfield.

With an abundance of talent within this age group, the girls played some great netball including a win against Traffords first team. Unfortunately it just wasn't enough and the girls missed out on the semi finals by goal difference.

Manager Ben Hopley was very proud of the girls and are already looking forward to their next tournament.

Stars of the day were our U10's, they won all their group games and went on to beat Didsbury in the semi finals 6 - 2

The final against Trafford was always going to be a hard fought match. At the end of the first half our girls were trailing by one goal but with great spirit our girls pulled it back to win at the end of full time by one goal. 5 - 4

Throughout the tournament our girls played nine games, scored 95 goals and only conceded 12
