Our U14's squad took on Denton Villa in a must win game for both teams, in the County Clubs League. 

With injuries to two of our centre court players, Emma Thompson and Sophie Austin, some of the squad found themselves in a change of position.

Tameside led all the way through the match and at one stage had a four goal lead before Denton pulled it back. However, our girls held their nerve and closed out the game, winning by one goal.

Player of the match goes to Sam  Longson who switched from GD/WD to WA/C and gave a good solid performance through each quarter.

Final result: 17 - 16

Tameside have now finished runners up in the league and will now progress to the Regional Clubs League.  Well done girls!
